Auction start for firm storage products at the Trianel gas storage facility in Epe

Aachen, Epe. Die Trianel Gasspeicher Epe GmbH & Co. KG is offering three innovative storage products on a firm basis with terms of one or two years in a new auction. A total storage volume of 400 GWh is available starting storage year 2026 for one or two years, divided into 16 storage lots, each with a working gas volume of 25 GWh.

“Currently, we are seeing a recovery in the market environment and a renewed interest in flexible storage products”, explains Carsten Haack, Managing Director of Trianel Gasspeicher Epe GmbH Co. & KG. “This was also demonstrated by the successful auction of our interruptible capacities last month. We are now offering again the innovative products on a fixed basis for which the product design has not been changed. Storage customers can choose between different products that allow them to manage their stored gas securely and flexibly."

Interested customers are invited to participate in the auction. It is possible to submit bids for one or more products and lots. In principle, contracts are awarded on the basis of the bid price for the respective product.

The bidding process ends on 17 June 2025, 12:00 hrs (CET).
