Trianel Gasspeicher Epe Begins New Storage Marketing

Aachen, Epe. Trianel Gasspeicher Epe GmbH & Co. KG is launching its newly designed firm storage product “Flexomic fast” and initiating an auction procedure for the upcoming two storage years, each offering 800 GWh of storage capacity.

The newly tailored product “Flexomic fast” will be offered for both the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 storage years in 16 lots of 50 GWh each, providing customers with high flexibility alongside reliable planning certainty.

“The market environment remains challenging, but we continue to see strong demand, especially for highly flexible storage products,” says Carsten Haack, Managing Director of Trianel Gasspeicher Epe GmbH & Co. KG. “We aim to meet this need with the new auction. By focusing on a single product and increasing the volume to 800 GWh per storage year, we are responding directly to specific customer requirements. Customers can submit bids for one or both upcoming storage years, thereby securing a longer time horizon with flexible access to their stored gas.”

The marketing will be conducted via an auction procedure, allowing bids for one or both annual products – each consisting of 16 lots. Allocation will be based on bid price per lot and per storage year.

The bidding process closes on 17 June 2025, 12:00 hrs (CET).
